At Misty Interactive Studios Inc., we take the privacy of your "second brain" seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use BrainHQ and the Second Brain Platform.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Name, email address, and billing details when you register as a client.
• User Content (The "Corpus"): The data you upload for ingestion, including Gmail exports (.mbox), Outlook files, documents, notes, images, and archives.
• Usage Data: Interactions with the 3D semantic graph, query history, and system logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

BrainHQ is designed to be a private intelligence layer. We use your information exclusively to:

• Parse and chunk your messages and documents.
• Generate deterministic embeddings and semantic graphs.
• Extract style profile data and sent-email training examples to match your personal tone.
• Power the vector database and provide contextual, grounded answers to your queries.

3. Dedicated by Design

Every brain gets its own isolated memory index. We do not mix client data, and we do not train our foundational models on your private data. Your history remains yours.

4. Third-Party Subprocessors

To provide the Service, we share necessary data with trusted third parties under strict confidentiality agreements:

• OpenAI: We send text chunks to OpenAI's APIs (gpt-5.5 and text-embedding-3-small) to generate embeddings and responses.
• Supabase: We use Supabase for secure cloud storage of raw uploads and metadata.
• Vercel: We deploy individual client frontend OS instances on Vercel infrastructure.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest. Your generated Brain Index is stored securely and accessed only via authenticated requests with your per-client credentials.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your raw uploads (e.g., in BRAINHQ_UPLOAD_DIR or Supabase) are kept only as long as necessary to build the training job and manifest. You may request the deletion of your Brain Index and associated data at any time, at which point it will be permanently erased from our active servers.

7. Your Rights

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of BrainHQ implies consent to the updated policy.
